Lovely relaxing holiday
Elliott's family, Cirencester, UK - September 2009
Great weather and a super place for our 2 year old to run around. The market at Le Muy was good for food, and the beach at Port Grimaud was very nice.  The highlight was the beautiful village of Grimaud.  Thank you Jenny for your warm welcome (especially as we were so late arriving!)

Great holiday!
Kolme viinin maistajat, Finland - September 2009
Meillä oli hyvä vapaapäivä Jennyn maalaistalo. Kiitämme super Jenny ja Pohm

Wonderful holiday
Dog lovers, Mannheim, Germany - Sept 2009
The kids (14, 13, 9) enjoyed the pool, local markets and Pohm very much. We 'adult ones' fell in love with all the nice small villages around. Find of all was Chateau Double for a wonderful dinner while sun is going down. Callas for our morning coffee, the beaches between St Maxime and St Raphael were beautiful, and we were deeply impressed with the views at Gorges de Verdon, and enjoyed swimming in the Lake St Croix. Thanks a lot Jenny for all your recommendations.

Lots to do and see!
Woods family, Lancashire, UK - August 2009
We really enjoyed out stay here at the farmhouse, and the weather was perfect for relaxing in the pool.  We really enjoyed buying fresh grapes from the roadside stalls, and walking up to the village to La Grotte restaurant.  Places we enjoyed were Trigance, Ampus, beach at Frejus, ED supermarket, St Raphael night market, Lac St Cassien, and St Tropez by ferryboat from St Maxime.  Bons vacances!

Wonderful fortnight
Joe and Co, Wiltshire, UK - Aug 2009
What a wonderful fortnight we've had.  The farmhouse was peaceful, relaxing and perfect for unwinding.  Jenny was so helpful and friendly and made our stay a pleasure.  Found excellent restaurants locally.  Had good days out - boat trip to St Tropez, train to Monaco, pedalos on lake at Roquebrun.  And we recommend sitting on the front terrace in the dark, with a drink, and enjoying the shooting stars!

Recharged and relaxed
CJ, Basingstoke, UK - July 2009
Delightful time. Lovely property - just like something off of one of those Holiday programs like "A Place in the Sun".
Jenny was most accommodating and very pleasant. The farmhouse was different to other holiday homes we have stayed. Lots of character in beautiful surroundings.

Recharged and relaxed
Chris and family, Oldham, UK - July 2009
Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely farmhouse.  The kids have grown gills, and the youngest has learnt to swim without floats here!  We loved the village markets, and have done several day trips (Gorge de Verdon, Tourtour, St Aygulf beaches, St Raphael etc) but the kids (8,7 & 4) preferred playing at the house and pool!  Our stay was made even more special by Jenny.  She made us feel so welcome in her home, and nothing was too much trouble.  The children loved picking tomatoes from her garden and collecting eggs from her chickens.  Would definitely come back again.

Unforgettable holiday in charming farmhouse
Couple with 2 kids, Germany - July 2009
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in this charming, old farmhouse in the midst of olive trees. Our kids (7 and 12 years old) loved the pool - and Pohm the dog. The shaded patio behind the house was our preferred place to sit for all meals. Even in the midday heat it was a very pleasant place to sit. The house is very well furnished and equipped, and staying there felt much more like a real (temporary) home then the usual cottages we have stayed in so far. Jenny is a very helpful and at the same time discreet landlady. After the recommendation of Jenny, we went to the celebration of the national holiday, July 14, in Draguignan, which allowed us to experience the most beautiful fireworks we have ever seen, in a very friendly and charming atmosphere. Another special experience we had been totally unaware of, was the tour de France to pass by on the main road just 2 minutes from the house on our first day, which Jenny also pointed out to us right after our arrival. Ahead of the cyclists drove the so called caravane, consisting of hundreds of vehicles: police, tour staff, TV stations, as well as many floats throwing giveaways to the crowds on both sides of the road. That was like carnival!  So, in total we experienced very a special holiday, in a very special place. And we look forward to returning next year!

RELAXING GETAWAY
Ali S, Edinburgh, Scotland - June 2009
First of all I would like to say thanks to Jenny for providing a wonderful holiday. The farmhouse feels like it is the only place for miles while only being a short drive to a few local towns. The property has all the facilities you could wish for on a holiday without losing any of the traditional feel of staying in an old French farmhouse. The property is clean and well maintained and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday, just stop off at the supermarket to get food and beer and your all set.  Ask Jenny for directions to get your wine though, the local stuff is much cheaper and better quality than they seem to sell in the supermarket. Jenny supplied us with a guide of attractions to see including maps, directions and timetables.  We visited St. Raphael for the beach and a wander round the shops. Draguignan for the local market. Monaco by train for a day trip is well worth it, train tickets are cheap but its worth buying your tickets the day before to check the times.  Antibes was also was also a great day out, we went to have a look round the port at all the yachts and ended up dancing in the streets until the early hours since we arrived during a music festival. Eating out: I can recommend the restaurant in the small village of Bagnols en Foret, we ate outside on the balcony with stunning views. Just be careful how much you order my hot goats cheese salad starter could have fed a family of 4! The local camp site also has a nice restaurant which is just a short walk away from the farmhouse, useful for giving the driver a rest. There really is just too much available to do in a weeks holiday and Jenny is very helpfully with her recommendations. All in all a wonderful holiday. Weather was Beautiful, everything else is thanks to Jenny's wonderful help and the wonderful accommodation.

JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED!
Becky, Dave  and Eva - Leatherhead, England - June 2009
We have had a fantastic week in the farmhouse. A great place to come to for a relaxed family holiday.  Everything we need for our 10 month old daughter was provided.  We spent a lot of time lazing around the farmhouse, but also enjoyed a few trips out - Verdon Gorge, Ste Maxime and especially Bargemon (lovely pizzzas!)  Thank you Jenny for making our stay so enjoyable - it was lovely to have met you.

FABULOUS !
Sue, Mike, William and Jasper - Ramsgate, England - June 2009
We were lucky enough to stay here for the best part of a month, so not so much a holiday as living in France. The house was lovely, very clean and welcoming. The terrace well shaded - perfect for eating out in the heat of the day. It also had outside lighting for the evening meal and a very handy electric socket if you cannot live without your laptop! I like to cook and because this is Jenny's home it was very well equipped, it was a real pleasure especially as the local produce is so good. For those of you flying and wanting to save weight the house was equipped with practically every book and game that you are likely to need. Callas was pretty and there was a lovely bistro (Jenny will tell you the name) where the locals eat â€" not to be missed. Le Muy was an easy drive and well worth it as the market was fantastic. Look out for the bed quilts, excellent value for money and they wash like a dream! We took our two spaniels and they were able to run free, as the grounds were huge and securely fenced. Jenny was so kind to them (as was Pohm her dog) and it really made our holiday especially as dogs are welcome in most places in France. The local vet in Callas was open on a Saturday morning which meant there was no drama about getting their Pet Passports ready for our return to the UK. Jenny is the perfect host, there if you need her but never in your space - we would recommend this as the perfect place to stay in Provence.

Peaceful retreat for a chilled holiday
Bylanes Amsterdam - May 2009
It was a quiet and relaxing property, had a real cottage feel, very rustic and a great place to chill out. The owner (Jenny) was a lovely person. The pool has ample room for the children to splash about in. The gardens are huge and we had loads of fun bug hunting every evening .. take your nets! Very secluded and private but you do need a car! Great wine region and plenty of wine houses to visit ,sample and buy. Nearest nice sandy beach was St Raphael .. ask Jenny.  We all had a lovely time, not long enough, we would have preferred 2 weeks.

Lovely farmhouse
M & T - Ireland - May 2009
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely farmhouse.  We visited some old favorites such as St Maxime and Grimaud, but spent most of the time relaxing outside by the pool. We found Jenny's friendliness an added bonus and appreciated her help and kindness.

A marvelous holiday
PB, Scotland - May 2009
We have had a really nice unwind and confidently recommend this comfortable property - a fantastic place for a family holiday.  The owner's kind and thoughtful touches were very much appreciated, and the tourist information she provided ensured that we had a very enjoyable week.  The car boot sale she recommended was amazing! AL FRESCO ......  there are three patios - large one one with a barbecue and dining tables, a sunbathing one beside the pool and one which is absolutely childproof (child lock on the gate) so we could keep an eye on our toddler playing while  we prepared meals.  This patio was our favorite one for star-gazing!  We will certainly book again next year!

Very Nice
Aussie1 UK -April 2009
We were very happy with this quaint farmhouse and it was very child friendly for our 2 year old. Also toys and cot were provided which was great and lots of area to play in. The region is fabulous and there is lots to do and close to restaurants and markets. The only problem would be that the grandparents missed their modern creature comforts (!) but overall we loved the rustic feel of the place. Jenny is very helpful and welcoming.

Like stepping back in time - but with internet & dishwasher
Alexander family - April 2009
This place is fantastic - like a film set.  It is very comfortable because it is actually the owner's home.  It is furnished with 'proper' furniture and quality mattresses.  There is a wonderfully equipped farmhouse kitchen, as well as a lovely stone barbecue built into the ancient walls of the house.  There are loads of interesting books and novels on the bookshelves, and a library of DVDs.  Not that you will be bored as there are plenty of things to do.  We enjoyed the local markets, the museum at Draguignan, our visit to the craft centre at Vence, the piano bar at St Maxime (by the port), the wine tasting along the Route de Vins, shopping in Cannes,  glass blowing in Biot, and a wonderful meal at La Maurette in Le Muy.   Jenny and her shadow (her lovely dog) welcomed us when we arrived very late (due to flight delays) and she willingly supplied us with food and wine for our first night.  A kind and thoughtful lady!  We highly recommend this property for quality, comfort and value (The internet connection is fast and 24/24)

5 visits now!
P & I - April 2009
Traditionally built to suit the area, cool in summer warm in winter this old farmhouse is genuinely rustic. Very large grounds; with easy access to choice of local villages for necessities, both with good bakers. Good walking from the door to gorge, around the hill for shorter walks or up into Callas and follow the trails which Jenny has in English. More walks further afield towards Grasse are also available A visit to the grand canyon du Verdon is a must as are trips to the hill top towns, the view from Mons is spectacular.  A host of information on the area is available down to the local micro climates from Jenny usually followed by Pohm her dog.  5 visits now to this property must say something!

Great place to stay
CCOS  Dublin - July 2008
My family (5) stayed in the farmhouse for our last week in france this year and of the three properties we stayed in it was our favourite. it is secluded which we like but the roads to and from are very drivable so it was easy to venture out on day trips or just to a bakery for fresh bread. Le Muy is 15 mins or so and the market there was very good on sunday morning. the children loved the adventure park there also ( just before the A8 toll) it was a forest obstacle course type thing perfect for 5yrs and up, there is a more dificult course for teenagers, and it is in the shade so it was perfect for the middle of the day. St maxime was great too , nice public beaches and it was accessible and reasonable, i found St Tropez a bit too "Designer" , although the FunFair there was great fun a big treat nd good value too. the house was immaculate and had all the facilities we like, dishwasher vital , kettle microwave , laundry room . it was warm and welcoming and very easy to settle into. the bedrooms downstairs were cool so we could sleep at night. jenny was very friendly well informed and professional. she had good recommendations for what to do and where to eat ( handy casual Pizza at the campsite about an eight minute walk away, more upscale dining at a large restaurant on the way to Le Muy) she reminded us of Bastille day because we had long since lost track of dates and recommended the fireworks in Draguignan which despite starting at 10.30 was very child friendly. and enjoyable. a very positive experience and happy holidays to whoever stays there .

Lovely farmhouse in rural France
Stephanie & Adam  London, UK - June 2008
We had a lovely week in the farmhouse at Peycavier. Jenny and Pohm were most welcoming and the property was very original and rustic. we enjoyed the outdoor stone BBQ most evenings and did a few trips to the area surrounding but mostly we just relaxed in seclusion and peace!
can't wait to return
mumof2  northumberland - June 2008
We spent a week with our two small children at Jenny's wonderful farmhouse. This is our second trip and definately won't be our last. The setting is stunning and the location excellent. We've had withdrawl symptoms since our return and on leaving our little boy said "I really wish this could be our home" sentiments we all feel. Jenny has put a lot of love into the place and it's so much more than a holiday let. Plenty to do in the area, if you want to and just a great place to chill.
Beautiful Provençal Farmhouse
kate & steven  france - June 2007
We had a wonderful holiday in Jenny's home. The surroundings are stunning and really relaxing. We were with our 6 month old baby, dog and my mum.... Jenny provided everything we needed and more besides. We couldn't have asked for a more genuinely friendly and generous host. She really made us feel welcome going over for the odd glass of wine and chats. The scenery and hillside towns are wonderful and we particularly liked bargemon, moustiers, aix (longer drive - but worth it) and the market at le muy was good. Worth checking out the vineyards too of course. Many thanks for letting us live the provençal life for a couple of weeks. It was nice meeting you Jenny.

home away from home at Jenny’s farmhouse

Holiday-REntals, UK- July 2007
It is hard to express what a wonderful experience it has been making our home away from home at Jenny’s farmhouse. The meals under the stars, bobbing in the lovely pool, and witnessing our son’s first steps will be remembered forever. Our trips to Bargeme, Moustiers, Les Arcs, St Tropez and Cannes were highlights. Holidaying with an 11 month old baby can be challenging, but Jenny made it a pleasure. Thank you again for your kindness, warmth and generosity.
